Tacoma Score
The¬†South Sound Tacoma Chapter¬†provides¬†FREE confidential mentoring¬†for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.The South Sound/Tacoma Chapter of SCORE is a no cost¬†SEAP-Approved provider which provides entrepreneurial training, business counseling, and technical assistance including “Preparing a Successful ¬†Business Plan to Start a Small business”.

Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises
OMWBE develops programs designed to improve the contributions of minority and women-owned small businesses to the Washington State economy.  The OMWBE assists qualified minority and women businesses in the State OMWBE certification process for public contracting and procurement and access to financial opportunities. Creating a competitive and fair business environment that includes small businesses owned by minority, women, and socially and economically disadvantaged people.

Service Corps of Retired Executives [SCORE]
Any start-up or existing small business is eligible for counseling at no charge from the Service Corps of Retired Executives.

Chambers of Commerce provides connectivity with other community stakeholders to leverage and maximize resources. Through innovative approaches in community partnerships and concentrating on education, chambers take a stand as stewards of the future.
